2026 ABK Benefits Open Enrollment

2026 ABK Benefits Open Enrollment is October 27- November 7, 2025. This is your annual opportunity to make changes to your benefit elections for the 2026 calendar year. Any changes you make to your benefit elections will take effect on January 1, 2026. The majority of your current benefits will carry forward, but Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA) must be elected each year.

Important Information

Employee contributions

  • There will be no changes to employee premiums for 2026. See the Contribution Rate Sheet found in the OE Materials section.

Collective Health CDHP deductible

  • Due to IRS regulation, the CDHP deductible will increase to $1,700 for employee only coverage, and $3,400 for family coverage.

Kaiser HMO medical plan (Northern & Southern CA only)

  • The Kaiser HMO plan will include fertility coverage, such as IVF, in compliance with Senate Bill 729.

Spending accounts

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) maximum contributions will increase to $4,400/$8,750 (single/family coverage). 
  • Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA) maximum contributions will increase to $7,500.
  • The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) will increase to $3,400 and Commuter Account will increase to $340.

Benefits@Play wellness incentives

  • We’re enhancing several point allotments and introducing new ways to earn rewards. Users can now earn 50 points for registering with Ovia. The Get Active program has been updated, with point values now ranging from 10 to 55 points, depending on the number of steps taken. The Healthy Habit activity has doubled in value, increasing from 5 to 10 points. Completing the Spring Health Assessment will now earn 50 points, up from 40, and participating in Spring Health Moments exercises will earn 15 points, an increase from the previous 10. These updates are designed to better recognize and support your healthy actions.

Retirement 401(k) plan

  • The employee contribution limit to the 401(k) plan is expected to increase but has yet to be announced.
  • Employees aged 60 to 63 will be able to make “super” catch-up contributions of $11,250. This is $3,750 more than the standard catch-up of $7,500. 
  • Employees aged 50 and older that are high-income earners (FICA wages over $145,000 in 2025) will be required to make their catch-up contributions on a Roth, or after-tax basis. The process will be automated and will not require any employee intervention.
